A well-known Stand-up Comedian in Singapore, Sharul has been handpicked to be the mentor for the Dastak actors and team given that she has been in the performing arts for 10 years.
Rahul Phondke has been involved with Theatre for as long as he has known, He has written, scripted, directed and acted in theatrical productions for Dastak as well as other forums. He has written a humor fiction novel and had been writing his humour column "Funnybone" for various publications in India.
Dastak is happening because of her vision & dream of promoting and combining Hindi theatre with local talent in Singapore. Be it hand picking the directors, scripts, getting actors to up their act and most importantly curating the entire festival, she is the main anchor of Dastak. Her go-to line? "Guys get serious now…get on with it"
A writer- Director herself, Gauri’s love for the Hindi language and writing skills are of immense value for the team as she sifts, translates and solves cultural conundrums. She is known as the ‘Diction Queen’ within the team
